SUSTAINABILITY

Understanding and embracing the importance of the incredible surroundings at Benloch Ranch is central to our conservation philosophy. We are lucky to find ourselves in a unique Utah environment amongst the natural beauty of the Unita and Wasatch mountains and along the pristine waters of the Provo and Weber rivers.  Our community’s stewardship is critical to preserving the unique environment that we see everyday.

With over 900 acres of open space and twenty miles of trails, we have implemented policies to protect the beautiful landscape that is Benloch Ranch. Our highest priority is to minimize negative impacts of our activities while striving to be better stewards of the land. We have adopted a high level of sustainability standards including protection policies surrounding wildlife preservation, conservation of vegetation, and water quality protection. We seek to coexist with our surrounding ecosystem by providing storm water management, firebreaks, and a reduction of noise and light pollution. The Benloch Ranch community will maintain a philosophy encouraging conscious growth and development.

The quality of our local ecosystem attracts numerous visitors throughout the year and is the primary reason many residents live here. Our quality of life depends on the continued health and viability of the ecosystem in which we live.  Since day one, responsible land management and sustainable practices have been at the core of our mission. The Benloch Ranch community is committed to a legacy of responsible environmental, community, and economic stewardship to ensure that generations to come will enjoy what we left behind.
